I have taken the plunge and come to Asia to teach English, take a break from Photography and test my boundaries in many aspects. I have been here since October 2003, and my contract ends in 19 weeks. Here are my experiences for my last weeks in Korea

Big fun in Bulgaria

I have landed in Europe and thank goodness for that! What a breath of fresh air this place is. The food smells are actually pleasant and the men look good- no they loog great! A week in Athens recharged me and now I am in Sofia for my CELTA course. It is going to be a hard month. There is so much to do, so many things to see and eat (LOL) and I have to study like a dog!

I arrived yesterday via train. Thank God for the Olympics, Athens has really cleaned up and so have the economy trains. It cost me a fraction of a flight to train it here, and I saw all the great countryside of Northers Greece and Bulgaria. I was picked up at the train station by someone from the school, and brought to my apartment. It is a sweet little spot that is quite central, and very clean. I will have an English room mate who has been working in Turkey. It'll be great to pick her brain.

I have also met a number of people off the Armenain site I have been chatting with over the year. I am meeting another in 20 minutes. I met one for a coffee at 4. Everyone is surprised that I have been to so many places and that I actually made it here.

Well, it is blistering hot in this PC room, so I am getting outa here. I love this place and I am going to look for work here. If I am lucky, I will never have to go back to Korea again!
